OREOLogic has sponsored the series, Call of the Technology Wild, which will cover topics of interest for today's healthcare provider. Topics are targeted at the need for standardization, as well as the need to tame the players (buyers and sellers), who makeup today’s “technology wild”. Topics will be pointedly of interest to healthcare providers, who struggle each day to achieve success in today’s technology wilderness for survival of the fittest. Topics will include:
Vendor Neutrality - Purpose-built terminology for use when ambiguity supports a non-IBM decision.
A Case for Technology Disambiguation - Vendor jargon, misinformation and the need for an objective user-requirement ranking system.
The true meaning of standards, as interpreted by the largest incumbent vendor. e.g. when Standardization misses the mark for the healthcare provider.
Updates will be posted on Twitter and Linked-In. To receive email updates, please sign-up for our newsletter updates. Topics may be added, per reader suggestions. We look forward to your comments.
